Information about the Project
Futurechild is a practical project aimed at encouraging children to think about what will be the shape of their future and to learn how to use creative tools to influence that future.
Futurechild encourages the young and not so young to think about the future and share their ideas with others.
This site presents the work of children, from two primary schools in Malta, Guzė Muscat Azzopardi Qormi Primary B. and St Sebastian Qormi Primary A., who participated in a pilot project. The children were asked to present their ideas through a project called: Village 2020. Their work can be viewed on this site and includes technological improvements; environmental considerations as well as leisure facilities and many other ideas.
Futurechild 
is part of a larger EU-funded foresight research project called eForesee (http://www.eforesee.info) co-ordinated in Malta by the Malta Council for Science and Technology (http://www.mcst.org.mt)
